Great success for TUMCS: Young Research Award for Sara Ferrara and Luca Cavinato

Exciting news for TUMCS and the Chair of Biogenic Functional Materials of Prof. Rubén Costa: The scientists Sara Ferrara and Luca Cavinato have won the prestigious Young Research Award of the European Material Research Society. This is the second time for Luca, while Sara was selected as the best PhD Thesis 2023 in the international competition.

The Research Summer School ran from 02.08. to 09.08.2023 and took place at the Digital Economy Promotion Agency.

Last Thursday, a delegation from the University of Turin (UNITO) visited the TUM Campus Straubing (TUMCS). TUMCS Rector Prof. Dr. Volker Sieber welcomed the scientists led by Prof. Dr. Cristina Prandi (Department of Chemistry at UNITO) at the Campus for Biotechnology and Sustainability and emphasized the unique focus of TUMCS on bioeconomy.
