EBT | 24.06.2024

On June 11th, 2024 the European Innovation Council and Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (EISMEA) funded project ECOMO (https://www.ecomo-eic.eu) organized a symposium titled “Carbon and Nitrogen Valorization: Sustainability in Focus”. The symposium was hosted by Dr. Hemlata Agarwala and Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Nicolas Plumeré from the Professorship of Electrobiotechnology (EBT).

The symposium witnessed five high-profile invited speakers from Denmark, France, Belgium and Germany and a brilliant audience. The day was filled with scientific talks of high-level, with visionary ideas and tangible solutions for the future of carbon dioxide and nitrogen valorization. In addition to that, the insightful lecture from Dr. Francesco Matteucci, a Programme Manager from the European Innovation Council (EIC), on how to create a business from research results with a hands-on portfolio approach, left everyone wanting for more! We can undoubtedly call the event a huge success! Here are some photos from this event.
