We are happy to announce that our article „Product-Oriented Time Window Assignment for a Multi-Compartment Vehicle Routing Problem“ was accepted for publication in the European Journal of Operational Research (VHB: A). The article examines the introduction of product-specific time windows in the distribution planning. It considers multiple planning periods and determines consistent time windows for the delivery of different product categories with multi-compartment vehicles. In this way, it enables a well-balanced supply of stores with different product categories and thus supports the planning of in-store operations.
